Cuba’s Alexis Copello took victory in the first IAAF World Series Indoor event of the winter jumping a World Leading 16.99m in Karlsruhe. Jonathan Drack of Mauritius took 2nd place by adding 23 cm to his PB ahead of last winter’s European Championships 1st and 2nd placed athletes – Nelson Évora and Pablo Torrijos.
