Results: 2016 Middlesex County Indoor Championships

Lee Valley, 19-20 March 2016.

Congratulations to all medallists at last weekend’s Middlesex County Indoor Championships:

U17 Women:
1. Claudimira Landim (Victoria Park & Tower Hamlets) 11.33m (PB)
2. Jade Isijola-Moens (Enfield & Haringey) 9.49m
3. Roisin Lynch (Ealing, Southall & Middlesex) 9.14m

15 year-old Claudimira added 53 cm to her PB as she completed a hat-tick of victories at the Championships winning gold in the Long Jump and 60 Metres Hurdles.

U20 Men:
1. Odell Okwuosa (Thames Valley) 12.51m
2. Sam Fraser (Hillingdon) 12.51m
3. Joel Bright-Davies (Thames Valley) 12.20m

Odell took victory on countback thanks to a second best effort of 12.41m compared to Sam’s 12.17m.

U17 Men:
1. Teepee Princewill (Harrow) 13.83m
2. Samuel Oduro Antwi (Enfield & Haringey) 13.40m (PB)
3. Abbas Adejonwo (Shaftesbury Barnet) 13.28m (PB)
4. Ryan Scott (Enfield & Haringey) 11.81m (PB)

2nd-ranked British Under 17 Triple Jumper Teepee took victory as each of his rivals set new PBs – Samuel adding 6 cm to his previous best, Abbas 13cm and Ryan 14 cm.

U15 Men:
1. Olowasubomi Bello (Victoria Park & Tower Hamlets) 12.08m (PB)

Olowasubomi added 98 cm to his PB from last year to go 3rd on this winter’s British U15 Rankings.
